Kambô Frog Medicine
The Ultimate Shamanic Cleanse
When You Are Ready to Get Truly Clean and Aligned
When you are ready to get truly clean and aligned, turn to indigenous medicine. Ceremonial medicine offers the process, and the pure materials to facilitate bodily, spiritual and emotional healing — the whole Self.
In particular, Kambô has helped thousands of people overcome addiction, autoimmune dysfunction, chronic pain, as well as mental, spiritual and emotional blocks. The waxy secretion from the Amazonian Phyllomedusa Bicolor frog is one of the most powerful natural ways to modulate and strengthen the immune system, heighten all senses, reduce pain and treat infections. It triggers a powerful release of toxins that organs and tissues are holding, and the result is unprecedented clarity and stamina using bioactive peptides.
Rapéh & Sananga are served, as well. These indigenous medicines are legal, powerful agents of emotional and spiritual transformation as well as physical cleansing of the entire system. Bioactive peptides allow your system to dump its toxic load and fully release.
The Inoculation
This indigenous and ethically obtained medicine is from the Amazon, where it has been used for centuries to purge the body, cleanse the spirit, release energetic attachments and heal disease of all kinds. It is known simply as "The Inoculation." Tribespeople take Kambô at every season change, lifelong.
The medicine provides incredible mental clarity, sensory acuity and restored physical function, as well as pain relief for chronic conditions. It is also known as "Hunter's Medicine," as it is taken by tribesmen prior to hunting in the jungle at night, due to the stamina and mental clarity it provides.

The Session
Knowing what to expect before your first Kambô session can ease anxiety and help you arrive prepared. There are dietary and spiritual preparations — contact Connie directly for the full guidelines. Below is a clear overview of each phase of the process.
Preparation
The days before your session
- Connie will provide detailed prep instructions upon booking. In general:
- Fast for at least 8–12 hours before your session. Water is fine; avoid food, alcohol, and recreational substances.
- Avoid: all meat, all dairy, and all processed sugar and carbs for 2–3 days prior.
- Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your session to support hydration.
- Set a clear intention. What are you seeking to release, heal, or understand?
- Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Arrange for someone to drive you home and keep the rest of the day clear.
- Payment is required in advance to reserve your session.
The Ceremony
What happens during your session
- We begin with a brief intake conversation to review your health history and intention.
- Rapéh and Sananga may be served as part of the ceremonial opening — these indigenous medicines ground the space and sharpen awareness.
- Small gates (burns) are made on the surface of the skin to allow the Kambô to enter the lymphatic system.
- The secretion is applied to the gates. Effects begin within minutes: warmth, flushing, increased heart rate, and swelling of the face are common.
- The purge — which may include vomiting, sweating, or bowel release — typically follows. This is the cleansing at the heart of the ceremony.
- The active phase lasts 20–40 minutes. The Kambô is then removed and the gates are treated with a healing salve.
- A rest period follows. Many people feel a deep calm, clarity, and sense of lightness after the purge.
Aftercare & Integration
The days and weeks that follow
- Rest for the remainder of the day. Allow your body to continue processing.
- Eat a healthy meal in accordance with your hunger. Some folks are hungry after Kambô; others, not so much. But do choose the cleanest, greenest food available. Clean proteins are OK now — but staying vegan or vegetarian a while will maximize the benefits!
- Stay hydrated. Electrolytes can be helpful.
- Avoid alcohol and substances for at least 3 days after your session.
- Journaling, meditation, and time in nature support integration of the experience.
- Reach out if you have questions or need support in the days following your session.
